From a young age Melinda Olive would disappear into the depths of her mind creating worlds and creatures unimaginable unless you too were also escaping the realities.
These passions for art started as soon as one was possible to grasp a marker. Quick little sketches (or scribbles if you will) were produced at a speed and then passed on to the nearest watchful eye, she would lean back and wait for a reaction. This image of Melinda Olive with a pen and paper is how she became known as a child, The Drawer, and forever after this tag would follow her around.
From there the art surpassed any other reason for existence, and not a lot more has changed.
Art is an extension of ones being, an illusion if you will. Created from nothing with something to express. Its message only projected on it by an onlooking audience. I don't do art to tell a story, instead i do art to do art. You alone create its story.
Welcome and Enjoy the bloodshed candy to the eyes.
